About Us

Chef Philippa Douglas has worked within the catering business for many years. Born in Dunedin, she trained at Otago Polytechnic and began working in well-known restaurants in Dunedin such as Thyme Out and Ombrellos. She then moved to North Canterbury and continued to work in some of the local restaurants like the Blue Rooster in Rangiora and taught at the North Canterbury Community College. More recently, Philippa was found in the kitchen of Seagars of Oxford.

Philippa has now been inspired to create her own range of products. Using only natural and where possible, locally sourced ingredients, she has produced a collection of original and exciting products. Marketed under her own brand name 'Pips Kitchen', they are available in local stores and through this website.
